The National Institute on Money in State Politics’ proposed on-line guide to its Web site, FollowTheMoney.org, is aimed at invigorating learning activities and an understanding of state civics in high school classes and early college courses. High school civics teaching is undergoing a renaissance of sorts after many years of neglect. Teachers who have been in contact with the Institute are excited about the level of detailed information available on the Web site and the various tools and analyses available for free.
The on-line user guide is aimed at young users and teachers and would greatly expand an audience that is pivotal to improving the health and vitality of our democratic system of government.
